Meet the Artist

Working from her studio in Moray, Scotland, Adrienne’s work combines traditional leather skills mastered over many years with her curiosity for the fragile precious natural world. All pieces are made with great attention to detail using small hand tools and only the finest quality natural leathers.

A passion for carving the beautiful details of nature, and striving to be more analytical to have a better understanding of plant structures Adrienne gained the Diploma in Botanical Illustration at Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh.

Detailed exploration of a plant or plant theme Adrienne creates sketches, graphite drawings, and watercolour paintings on both paper and vellum which is instrumental to developing concepts and compositions for the leather pieces.

In addition to the botanical leather work, Adrienne has had the honour and great pleasure of working for many years with bespoke furniture designers including Silverlining Furniture Ltd, creating hand carved leather wall and furniture panels to their stunning designs and specifications. She has also handcrafted beautiful bespoke carved leather items ranging from luxury satchels to custom motorcycle seats and luggage.
